The dishes are really good especially the wild patin. It has the 火味 (fire smell, quoted the adults' word haha). Vegetables, claypot tofu and wild boar curry (三豬咖哩) are sooo tasty. Service is good. Other restaurants were mostly crowded and full. It has given us the chance to explore this new restaurant. If you are wondering about the toilets, it is well maintained.
This shop is dog friendly. Can even bring mid size dog and seat inside the shop comfortably. The food is good too, felt like the home cook style. We ordered whatever recommended by the boss. They have exotic meats too. Definitely will back this shop again if I pass by the area.
Always enjoy coming here for Lunch/Brunch or Dinner when going/coming down Genting Resort. Nice family restaurant, Steam Kampong Chicken with Bentong Fried Chicken @M40 and Fried Egg with Bitter Gourd M$12. Nice Clean like home cook food, family environment.
Of all the eating places at Bukit Tinggi, I keep coming back to Xiong Xin. To be honest, it's not because of the food but because of its clean toilet :-) But the food is ok too. My usual orders would be the Bukit Tinggi special "yin-yiong" vegetable, which is a cross between kailan and choy-sum (sawi). Stir-fried plain with just garlic and this style lets you taste the crunchy vegetable at its best. The omelete is good too - I was pleased that it was not the soggy and oily type. Good job, chef! But the glass noodles prawns was a slight let down this time. The chinese cabbage must have been dumped in too late because it was undercooked. Also, I could see black marks of rot in this white vegetable. Furthermore the soup had too much chinese wine that it tasted overpowering and bitter. Hope it'll taste normal again next round, ok chef?
The steam Pak su Kong here is fresh and reasonably priced. Stir fry watercress and dry curry wild boar are also pretty good. Great place for a stopover meal situated just beside the Karak highway.
I come here for the freshest Pak Sok Kong... Deliciously prepared and so so fresh. The wild boar is also a hit. Can come support for sure
Ordered signature kampung chicken ginger meehoon (RM40 for large plate with generous chicken servings) and pork belly fried long bean Food is delicious and value for money!!! The passionfruit drink also very worth it at RM5 for a large glass
